About The Event
This Cookery event carried special significance. Each participant received a formal invitation and attended the experience in elegant attire for a traditional British luncheon.
The afternoon began in the kitchen, where Karina guided everyone through the making of two Mediterranean-style dishes — Mediterranean Pie and Cheese Nibbles, while explaining the classification of British flours and the techniques of puff pastry. Participants then stepped into the garden to pick edible flowers and herbs, crafting a colourful salad entirely from ingredients they gathered and prepared themselves. Olive oil, red wine vinegar, mustard, and crushed walnuts were blended together, then topped with petals and fresh vegetables — a feast for the eyes as well as a deep exploration of nature and taste.
Meanwhile, a pot of fragrant Pea & Mint Soup simmered on the stove, garnished with artfully piped cheese and hand-placed flower petals, turning even the soup’s surface into a delicate work of art.
