About the event
As part of CSIA’s continuing commitment to building a warm and multidimensional scholarly community in Cambridge, the Life Curve Workshop marked the first collaboration between CSIA and Clover Coaching. Designed as an experiential psychology session, the workshop invited participants to step beyond the routines of academic life and enter a reflective space where personal experience, memory and self-understanding could be gently explored.
Using visual cards and guided psychological tools, participants were encouraged to map the peaks and valleys of their own life journeys. Rather than following a conventional lecture format, the session created a calm and respectful atmosphere in which each person could revisit formative experiences, identify hidden strengths, and give new language to moments that had shaped them. Through image-based prompts, personal storytelling and attentive listening, participants were able to reconnect with memories that often remain unspoken in the pace of everyday life.
