Sino–UK Entrepreneur
Co-Creation Programme

Building on the academic excellence and innovation ecosystem of Cambridge, the Cambridge Scholars Innovative Academy (CSIA) officially launches the Sino–UK Entrepreneur Co-Creation Programme, bringing together entrepreneurs from China and the United Kingdom, as well as key practitioners across the business, government, academic and industry sectors.

Guided by the core principle of cross-border project co-development, the programme aims to establish a long-term collaborative platform connecting enterprises, academic institutions and public-sector organisations in China and the UK. Through an integrated model combining learning, visiting programmes, exchange and project implementation, the initiative seeks to promote international industrial cooperation, talent development and the creation of shared social value from a global perspective.
 

Programme Positioning and Co-Creation Focus

The Sino–UK Entrepreneur Co-Creation Programme adopts an integrated framework of learning, exchange and project delivery, with particular emphasis on the following areas:

  • International market expansion and overseas development of products and services by enterprises from China and the United Kingdom

  • Enhancement of international academic credentials and professional capability frameworks for entrepreneurs from China and the UK

  • Reciprocal visits between Chinese and UK entrepreneurs, leading to sustainable collaborative projects

  • Joint planning and implementation of public-interest and social innovation initiatives

  • Three- to six-month short-term visiting and co-creation programmes for entrepreneurs, industry leaders and representatives from the cultural sector in China and the United Kingdom

 

The programme places strong emphasis on long-term connectivity and tangible outcomes, encouraging participants to translate dialogue and exchange into actionable and sustainable cross-border cooperation.

Target Participants

The programme is designed for senior practitioners with international development aspirations and a strong sense of social responsibility, including but not limited to:

  • Entrepreneurs and senior corporate executives from China and the UK

  • Representatives from government bodies

  • Core members of industry and professional associations

  • Leaders of educational and academic institutions

  • Industry professionals with experience in, or a strong commitment to, international collaboration

Programme Format and Content

The programme adopts a flexible, modular structure tailored to participants’ needs at different stages, offering:

 

  • Learning programmes, professional training and business study visits (6–20 days)

  • China–UK business matching and resource linkage

  • Academic exchange and thematic seminars

  • Teaching observation and academic visits

  • Targeted incubation and support for co-creation projects

Phase One Programme Structure

I. Entrepreneur Business School Programme

(Government–Enterprise Cohorts / Executive Programmes / University–Enterprise Partnership Classes)

  • Cross-border e-commerce

  • AI technologies and industrial applications

  • Related interdisciplinary and emerging fields

Programme Delivery

China · Chengdu

  • 1–2 cohorts per year

  • 7–10 days per cohort

  • Delivered by Cambridge-based faculty or international experts travelling to China

United Kingdom · Cambridge

  • 1–2 cohorts per year

  • 7–14 days per cohort

  • Groups of Chinese and UK entrepreneurs visiting Cambridge for study, institutional visits and exchanges

The programme combines case-based learning, expert lectures, company visits and round-table discussions, strengthening global perspectives and practical application.

II. Short-Term Visiting Programme for Entrepreneurs, Scholars and Educators

During the visiting period, participants will be integrated into CSIA’s international academic and practice-oriented networks, engaging in research discussions, thematic activities and cross-disciplinary exchanges, fostering a deep integration of theory and practice.
